The Personnel Office was established in accordance with the Personnel Management Act and the NCKU Regulations for Personnel Management Setup to manage the employment, recruitment, transfers, salary, leave of absence, dealing with salary scales, welfare, insurance, retirement, pension, and personnel information management, etc.
The major duties of the personnel administration in the university are conducted in accordance with the personnel acts and regulations and the university’s personnel policies. In association with the school development, the office provides support to various units depending on demands. It aims to promote administration efficacy with economical and effective applications of the organization and human resources. Aiming to enhance the administration efficacy, it endeavors to boost the school development.
Distinguished human resources are the key to encourage school development. In accordance with the needs of school development and modern ideas of human resources, the Personnel Office set four core tasks:
1. Establish forward looking personnel regulations with innovative spirits;
2. Promote the quality and efficacy of personnel services with enterprising conducts;
3. Take care of the rights of the faculty and staff in the university with professional-oriented expertise;
4. Activate and encourage the organization’s morale from the perspectives of care and concern.
